After VoIP, shall we get TVoIP?

Internet Protocol is already eating up local phone and cellular networks. Some would like TV to be the next target: just like phone calls, TV transmissions can be reduced into digital packets and sent Internet-style.
Microsoft is working on IPTV to base tomorrow’s TV on computer technology.
