Traffic info on the PDA

SeaTraffic is a free application (but users get adverts with it!) that sends up-to-the-minute traffic maps of Seattle on a Palm smartphone or wireless device.

The Washington State Department of Transportation gathers traffic data from sensors under selected roadways, calculates the average speed of traffic and makes this data available via Internet in a compressed file. SeaTraffic retrieves the file from the WSDOT servers, and then formats this data to create the maps.
