A tool to reclaim public wireless space
Wi-Fi Hog is system for a laptop or portable computer that enables its user to gain complete control over a public access wireless network.
Its author Jonah Brucker-Cohen told during the last FutureSonic conference about the many criticisms he got from people who saw only the selfish side of the Wi-Fi Hog. So he thought about some refinements that could put his creation in a more positive light: could be used as a smart hog that would blog only BT zone and gives you independance, could become a tool for persuasive messages (I’m not so happy about this one!) or allow user to connect only to a selected network.
