Kiss the Frog

Norway’s new National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design doesn’t have a permanent building as yet. Instead a frog-shaped pavilion has been inflated in central Oslo where the museum is going to be built. The 21,600-square-foot blow-up work of Magne Magler Wiggen Sivilarkitekter will be deflated this month.

Until September 18 the pavilion is housing “Kiss The Frog – The Art of Transformation” an exhibition of installations from contemporary Norwegian and international artists (see PDF).
