No quality MMS content without data about user’s handsets

Brand and media owners attempts to develop high-quality MMS content are hindered by lack of data about users’ mobile phones: without such information, MMS content can’t properly be rendered to different handsets.

Vodafone is now planning to provide such a facility for its own customers’ handsets, while Orange is working on an handset identification number API to allow complete product specifications for third parties.
