Japanese IT and networking technologies giant, NEC is currently developping a new kind of battery that needs just 30 seconds to totally “fuel”, for example, a minidisc lector for 80 hours.
NEC has communicated that the battery will be launched in the medium-term, but its price should be fairly accessible thanks to mass production and low cost of the components used.
