What about last Sunday’s boycott of SMS in France?

A French Consumer Association had proposed to boycott the SMS on the 9th of May to denounce the excessive price consumers have to pay to text messages.

Now it looks as if the outcome of the operation is very unclear: while the consumer association said that the impact of the operation was a drop of 25% of SMS traffic for one of the operators, the French operators declared that no significant change in traffic was noted last Sunday (and Orange even noticed an increase of 5%.)
