In January this year, England was introduced to Weemee, a cartoon image to use as an avatar while dealing with other people. So far, 2.5 million British avatars have been created. They can be used as e-mails signature, represent you in chat rooms, forums and message boards and customize your home page, become a logo for your mobile phone, be sent as a picture message or identify a caller.
Besides, Weemee lets you create a Social Fingerprint, with information on where you hang out and what you like to do.
Now, Belgian, Dutch and Spanish customers can follow the craze, thanks to a deal between Saw-You, creators of the Weemee system and Microsoft’s MSN network.
