Struggling with English

Being both overwhelmed with complexes because I’m not a fluent English speaker (such a relief my writing does not reflect my grotesque pronounciation, some of my English friends call me “Inspecteur Clouseau”) and totally obsessed by languages, I keep buying books about grammar or vocabulary. Not as a punition, I really enjoy reading them (though I prefer crime stories)…

Vivian Cook, author of Accomodating Brocolli in the Cemetary, has set a quiz in The Guardian to test our knowledge of some of the most difficult and frequently misspelt words in the language.
My results were just “not bad.” Sigh!
