Phonesnaps aspire to art

Henry Reichhold, a London-based photo-digital artists builds impressive panoramic images of events and places using camera phones.

He “phonesnaps” a series of images and stitches them together on his computer to create landscapes of London seen during both day and night, large-scale images of a bingo hall, cinema goers and a series of nightclubs.

Now he’s been commissioned by Nokia to produce similar panoramic collages of several music festivals this summer to be shown off by the company at the Photokina exhibition to be held in Cologne in October.
