Srichti Bajaj went to Innovation at the RCA 2005, here’s her pictures and report:

The Royal College of Art in London is staging its first-ever innovation exhibition, on until 12th october. It showcases graduate inovations, research projects and commercial collaborations in a whole range of disciplines.

Designed by RCA Design Products graduate, Claudio Ripol, the Snail Desk, is a fun and clever combination of a desk and locker. Efficient and colourful, the locker opens neatly into a table.

i loved the ‘Spork‘, funky and useful, combining both a spoon and a fork in one complete form. Designed by Emma Kate Francis at the RCA -“This piece of cutlery will enable the user to eat ‘on the hoof’, for packed lunches and picnics”. It is a simple, elegant design and also reusable. very economical.
