Japan to develop new spy satellite to monitor N. Korea

The government has decided to work on a spy satellite capable of taking sequential photos of North Korean missile bases and nuclear facilities almost simultaneously.

Government souces say the satellite will be able to distinguish objects on Earth as small as 50 centimeters and will fly at a speed of 29,000 kilometers per hour taking the sequence photos once a day, compared with once in very two days under the current satellite system.
