In Sayaka Ohata’s Internal Sense, visitors wear a glove and walk around an empty room. They are invited to concentrate on other senses that are usually ignored in daily life.
Visitors have to track down a virtual object moving around the room, the glove acting as some kind of pointer that vibrates to let users “feel whether” they were getting closer or not to the object. According to Paul who tried the installation, the object is rather ellusive and impossible to capture but one can get pretty close to it and feel it.
