BodyBug (picture on the left), a project by Jin Moen at Interactive Institute Share Studio, is a climbing device with robot-like characteritics that uses body movements to create a physical dialogue between you and the machine, as well as the environment. When you feed BodyBug with movement impulses it will travel on a wire on your body. Depending on how you move, the gadget will respond to you in different ways.
Technically BodyBug uses bodily movement impulses and translates them into its own movement along the path on your body, depending on the speed and direction of the pulses, the prototype gets information on how to climb its host.
More physical exertion with the Gimnastyczk (picture on the right), a T-shirt by Polish designer Marek Król. The garment comes with a tunnel in the form of a labyrinth sown on it. It has been designed for children, teenagers and adults with joints and spine illnesses. You have to move a ball from the beginning of the labyrinth to the finish. Herbs, amber or other healing substances may be put in the ball.
