The mobile phone market is in a country like Italy a “substitution market”. It means that the market is already full of devices, so that the only way to sell phones is to make always new devices so that people choose to change his old one in favour of the last generation model.

D. Watkins, director og imaging business unit of Nokia says “we can divide mobile phones in three categories by their functons:
– devices able to make phone calls
– devices able to take and manage photos and play games
– devices for business world with functions of an handle pc.
