Celso Cukierkorn, a 34 years old rabbi offers an online conversion course and even a final exam to anyone who wants to become Jewish.
The curriculum targets “people who cannot find a rabbi to convert them or who live in places where they don’t have a rabbi or their schedule will not allow them to convert” in more traditional ways.
The programme is customized for each student, depending on prior knowledge of Judaism.
The rabbi generally let the convert decide how much to pay; payments have ranged to $2,500.

Couldn’t resist writing about the less less less serious (at least, I have the feeling that it’s rather fanciful) “Plug and Pray” that provides religion in a box and lets user prays with their computer.
Their “Switch Religion Kit” allow users to instantly adopt the religion most convenient for their present situation.
They also launched the SMS-MMS technology: Plug’n’Pray logs on to the mobile network, targets your position and automatically downloads the most appropriate religious profile, depending on the zone you are in, sending you all the necessary files for the required religion, holy icons, and special passes to access restricted areas.
