Eco-friendly 3G antenna

NTT DoCoMo is installing in Chiba prefecture a FOMA antenna entirely made from recyclable or reusable materials, relying on solar and wind power and cooled by a heat exchanger that doesn’t emit carbon dioxide. The area around the EcoTower is paved with recycled tiles instead of asphalt or concrete.

DoCoMo already has a several EcoTowers up for its 2G service, but this is the first 3G version.
