Last month, BEDD was launched in Singapore. This software searches automatically for other people to buddy with, and lets users know if others have goods to sells or if a friend is close by, allowing them to interact via free Bluetooth chat messaging, SMS, MMS, Call, IM or Email.

Furthermore, the software can be shared also via InfraRed and a feature called BEDDfish lets users send a free SMS message to any Bluetooth enabled phones.

For the end-users, BEDD costs only S$0.98 per month.

BEDD should also provide new revenue stream for (traffic, sales of mobile, etc)service providers and handset manufacturers too.
