Safety Procedures

I’ve been reading several interesting stories about plane trips lately: a love letter to super-cheap European flight carriers; Ryanair planning to introduce in-flight gambling and computer games on its planes by 2007 and adding that the move could do away with the need to charge air fares; Airbus pitching the standing-room-only option to Asian carriers, with passengers propped against a padded backboard and held in place with a harness; pilotless planes, etc. Oh! and log on on whichbudget to know wich low-cost airline is cheaper for your next trip (via consumer).

All this made me want to watch again the Safety Procedures video (also here), by Richard Fenwick, a merry illustration of what the safety card in the pocket of the seatback in front of you won’t say.

Enjoy your flight!
