Today’s RFID’d kids story

A Japanese community is implementing a project that would see primary school children tracked by radio frequency identification tags.

The tags would be attached to the clothing and other personal articles — like nametags and schoolbags — of students. And readers will be placed at the school gate and at other locations regarded as dangerous for children.
