The table that senses your mood

The key table , part of Equator Weight Furniture project, gets a sense of people’s emotions from the way they dump their key or wallet onto it when they get back home. The table even warns the rest of the family to be on their guard if your mood is not good.

The table would trigger reactions to emotional entrances by, for example, swinging the pictures in mechanised frames off centre to warn other inhabitants to tread carefully.

The table is about one meter high with a flat surface for emptying content of pockets. Built-in load sensors work out how forcefully an object is placed on it. The data is then wirelessly transmitted to a companion picture frame that tilts accordingly.
