International exhibition of Mobile Video

Now that the use of mobile phones for still photography is gradually accepted, the turn of handsets with video capabilities has come. Mobile Exposure, an exhibition, will be studying in February 2005 the potentials of the handheld device as a cinematic tool for expression and activism.

The Mobile exposure is looking for submission of all lengths of work, although the focus will be on short works (less than 15 minutes). Deadline is Nov. 31, 2004.

Besides, the organizer, Microcinema International invites scholars, writers, and curators to submit comments upon the role mobile cinematography will have in the evolution of video, as well as its cultural effects.
Essays will be considered for inclusion in the exhibition catalogue as well as consideration for publication in Intelligent Agent Magazine.
