Infosyncworld noticed that the European trend to exchange contact details through Bluetooth or Infrared is losing its appeal.
The problem might be the interface: in order to process electronic business cards, one can store them in a folder as separate message, but to get them synchronized with a desktop database means reviewing contacts manually on the desktop to find out which one are new. Users having large social and professional networks are in for an extenuous exercize!
Operating system makers should work on an “holding area” that would help user process and categorize new contacts as clearly as they would with paper cards.
