European consultation on smart tags

The “Information Society Technologies” department of the European Union is calling for a wide consultation on wireless tags (aka smart tags or RFID) to investigate the need for further research in the technology and application domain. The outcome of the consultation will be discussed in a workshop held on April 20 in Brussels
