His Plant Backpack is a transportable greenhouse with an attached breathing mask that transfers fresh oxygen from the plants to the carrier, when walking around in the poluted air of the urban space.

For his first solo exhibition in Denmark, Wundergarage, the German artist has created new sculptural inventions.

One of them is the Private Cartographer’s Hot Air Balloon, a giant balloon, which floats under the ceiling of the gallery. The balloon has built-in mirrors which enable the visitor “wearing” it to watch himself from above, wandering in nature and thereby obtaining a conformation of his actual presence in nature.

The exhibit at the Kirkhoff gallery (Copenhagen) runs till April 22.
