Bio Mapping, a research project by Christian Nold, combines bio data with spatial data to explore new ways to use the information that we can individualy gather about our own bodies. The concept is to develop a scenario in which individuals can selectively share their own bio data to construct sensorial maps of urban space.
BioMapping will be presented at the Royal College of Art (London) from the 25 June to 4 July to perform an experiment in Collaborative Emotion Mapping.
Participants will be lent a device to explore the local area around the Royal College of Art. At their return, the data will be uploaded and participants will view a map of where they went and how stressed and excited they felt at that point.
