Litter can manifest a poetic side – think of the plastic bag being tossed by the wind in the film American Beauty. Sir, you dropped something! collects litter with the help of the wind and sends it in a big glass tube. The rubbish gets sucked up into the tube and performs a dance on a current of air for the person who’s just dropped it on the street. This piece calls attention to a problem (and to individuals who contribute to it) at the same time as it makes something temporarily beautiful from it.
