As part of a night-time art display in Munich, called “I see what I see not“, Tim Otto Roth has transformed a 700 square-foot area of light panels, mounted on the façade of a building in Munich, into a display of science in action. Inspired by telescope images that reveal the pixel structure of the camera, Roth has chosen images from many astrophysics experiments to create a flux of blinking lights on the 76 panels that can be controlled individually.
The project can be followed live daily via webcam between 17 and 20 o’clock MET till the end of March 05 .
