A few days ago, the Staalprijs, the national Dutch awards for architecture, were given to the best studios in The Netherlands.
Among the winners this year: ONL‘s awesome Acoustic Barrier in Utrecht; the Nescio Bridge (Amsterdam), the longest pedestian bridge in the country, by WilkinsonEyre and Arup; the Boostergemaal Zuid in Amsterdam by Group A, etc.

The winner of the best industrial building award is the eye-candy of the month imho: the WKK energy plant designed by Liesbeth van der Pol in Utrecht.
Also worth a look: the wonderful pedestrian “Moiré-tunnel” designed by Zwarts & Jansma Architecten in Rotterdam. Unfortunately they only got a nomination.
