Dutch designer Esther Derkx‘s Improved Crockery consists of vintage ceramics that have been re-printed with new designs, using a screenprint technique.

Pictures of athletes and dancers in y-fronts and bikinis were chosen because of their flowing movements which complement the contours and original originalm prints.
