US broadband phone service provider Vonage will introduce mobile Wi-Fi phones later this year: subscribers will be able to make and receive phone calls within range of Wi-Fi wireless access points increasingly present in houses, airports, cafes, hotels, fast food restaurants and other high-trafficked areas. The phone could also work inside any home outfitted with Wi-Fi networks.
