The key unit transmits a radio signal that, when received by an antenna attached to the automobile, locks and unlocks the car doors at the slightest touch. A portion of the watch is made from resin materials that enable radio waves to be transmitted and received.

Doors open by grabbing the door handle of the driver’s or front passenger’s seat. When in the vehicle, it allows the user to start/stop the engine by just pushing the engine button. Further, by pushing the button provided on the side surface of the watch, the user can remotely lock/unlock the door. In addition, the watch can unlock the door of the luggage room.

The company will initially offer it as an option with luxury Crown vehicles.
