While I was in Berlin two weeks ago, I was amazed by all these shops selling hot sausages. I even encountered some “walking sausage-shops.”

I’m not the first to have found it extraordinary…
During a Z Food Across the World tour, Paul Granjon explored a city for a couple of days before presenting a show based around that place’s particular fast food. In 1996, he made a Cybernetic Parrot Sausage in hommage to Germany’s fondness for sausages. He inserted a microchip with a voice box and a spinning mechanism taken from a toy parrot into a big orange sausage.
Movie (it’s always a pleasure to hear that I’m not the only one with that silly French accent.)
Also by Granjon: Robotic birds.
