I’m having a great time at the Swiss workshop so far. Nicolas has posted some notes about what’s going on.
I had a crush on Brigitta Cappellen’s Unfolding project.
Unfoldings is an interactive audio-tactile field (looking like a cross between cushions / instruments / rug / sofas / chairs, etc.) filled with bending sensors, on/off sensors, build-in speakers, lights, etc. Your movements while using, hugging or sitting / lying on them are reciprocated with music, moving images and light.
Each user has its own way to interact with it and it’s not always the one that the designer expected.
