Japanese school uniform maker Ogo-Sangyo Co has released blazers fitted with GPS for grade school pupils. The system allows parents to keep track of their children’s whereabouts through their personal computers.

The blazers carry GPS terminals inside, which are provided by Secom Co, a company previously involved in the “GPS satchels“. When a child faces an emergency situation, he or she can have Secom send a security agent to the spot by pushing a button on the terminal.
