Designers seem to be fond of cuckoo clocks: Cuckoo IP that functions as a voice messaging system, Tweety that hides an MP3 playing 10hrs of Dutch singing birds, netCuckoo that displays news and has a switch to choose between left wing or right wing news. Then there’s the Cuckoo postcard and Digital Stag.
Here’s my latest finding: Pascal Tarabay‘s Cuckoo Forest. The bird can be hushed during night hours thanks to a sensor that knows when the lights are off. When the lights are on, you can choose whether the bird pops out with a boisterous call or a gentle tone.
