Bosch has announced an advanced new wireless intruder detector that uses artificial intelligence to detect relevant motion.

The detector will detect humans but will not be triggered even by large dogs up to 40 kg (100 lbs) or 2 smaller dogs at 27 kg (60 lbs) or by up to 10 cats.

The TriTech RF835E uses both infrared and microwave technologies to provide alarms only when both sensors are triggered. It will not trigger on extreme thermal or illumination changes due to heaters or air conditioning, hot or cold draughts, sunlight, lights and moving headlights.

The unit also features a sealed optical chamber that is unaffected by insects, dust etc.
