Cryptech® is the first Italian GSM mobile phone that promises secure end-to-end encryption on calls, preventing the possibility of anybody listening in.

Cryptech® doubles as a computer, working on Windows Mobile and offering Outlook, Word, Excel &co. The hardware is the PDA Qtek 2020.

The device has been developped in Turin, at the I3P (“Innovative Companies Incubator of Turin Polytechnic”).

It’s not a first in the world (cf. The Cryptophone), sorry, ragazzi, the Germans were there before! But if anyone from the team who developped Cryptech reads me, he/she can send me more info to explain what are the advantages of the new device over its German counterpart.
