In Spain, a digital application for 2G mobile phones has been developed to allow asthmatics or people suffering from allergies to auto-diagnose themselves and evaluate the state of their affection.

A questionnaire helps evaluating the symptoms in order to determine in what step of the affection the patient is. Data previously introduced by the user, define his profile and his symptoms, so that the application can warn him in case of an alteration of the asthmatic conditions and send the data to the specialist or to a hospital. The program also reminds the patient of the medication prescribed by the doctor.
