A market research made clear that American and Canadian users of mobile have a traditional view of their phones: they just phone, check mail and play games.
But younger generations are favouring “funkier” uses of the device and like Japaneses and Koreans, they text, download ring tones or take and send pictures.
Nowadays, phones owners are getting younger and younger: 29 percents of 8-to 10-year-olds own a cellphone and another 54 percent declare they want one too.
