Satellite tracking and lie detector for sex offenders

British home secretary, David Blunkett, intends to submit sex offenders to satellite tracking and lie detector tests once they leave prison. Tracking would tell police if offenders had been near a crime scene and curb the overcrowding of prisons.

Besides, a register of violent and sexual offenders will provide instant access to detailed information on all known dangerous offenders.
