I’ll be in Linz (Austria) for the Ars Electronica festival until September 4. Will report as usual and post mini-interviews of some of the participating artists.
After that i’ll spend a few days home then will fly to New York for Conflux, the annual festival for contemporary psychogeography where international artists, technologists, urban adventurers and the public put investigations of everyday city life into practice on the streets. I’ll be giving a talk on Friday, September 15th in a cosy bar. Just before me Roshan Abraham will talk about Graffiti and Textuality, then there will be a couple short films, followed by a party with djs. So come, come and join the fun (not talking about my lecture here but about the festival which has a pretty impressive programme).
Although i’m really looking forward to see New York again, i’m as horrified as usual at the idea of spending a whole week out of Europe. If you have any event, exhibition or cool stuff (which can range from a brainy art lecture to the address of a good eyebrow designer) to visit in NYc from September 13 to 19, please post a comment or send me a mail at reg @ this domain.
