A new Trojan is attacking the Siemens S55, it sends SMS without users being aware of it.
The virus hides behind Java applications that user downloads on his mobile.
The Trojan takes advantage of two functions available in Java applications for Siemens S55. The first function controls the SMS arriving to and coming from the mobile phone. This function cannot send messages on its own since the user himself must accept to send it, so a second function gives the Java application the power to control what is shown on the screen. And this application can thus display a question that induces the user to accept the sending of the SMS.
