Moses Ma, one of the developers of the Cameraphone Summit came up with three suggestions to stimulate the growth of the camera phone business:
– social engineering (manipulating people to act in a specific way) through scripts that portray camera phones in a positive light or product placements in the media,
– fads, for example an event during Valentine’s Day 2005 where 10,000 camera phone users plus 1,000 student photographers would upload 50 million images of things they loved.
– venture funds that would invest in the wi-fi imaging business and/or encourage funds to devote some of their money in the industry.
