Shiftscape allows users to control the scenery seen through a window. Their movements through space change the height and position of waves by breaking up the horizon line.

Participants are first introduced to a very ordinary environment, but as they move, they realize that they are a part of the scenery; their movement affects the horizon line, which is used as a central compositional device to create a sense of disorientation.
