Brooklyn-based Michelle Rosenberg modifies portable electronic headphones. Some of them allow listeners to share the same sounds; others allow hoarding of several sounds; one even comes with a yolk, others are part of a Surveyor’s Chair.
Phones are not spared either. Recently she created the Log Phones, fully functioning telephones disguised as firewood; one of the Telephone Noise Makers is filled with feathers that flutter when the phone is dialed.
Now comes your chance to grab one of her works for a snippet: this Saturday, her gorgeous speakers and noise makers in ketchup and mustard dispensers will be sold at La Superette art sale in NYC. Just $15.
