Wheat straw wall and roof panels

From floors to ceilings, walls to roofs, Durra uses readily available crop byproducts and applies high heat and extreme pressure to wheat or rice straw, coaxing out resins that act as a strong and permanent bonding agent. Panels are dry extruded and then finished with a water-resistant and strong recycled liner paper.

Besides, Durra claims that its panels are 11 times more impact resistant than conventional drywall and twice as impact resistant as cement sheet products, they are engineered for maximum acoustical performance… and in case you wondered, they are 7 times more resistant to mold than conventional drywall materials.
