Knowing that their calls can’t be tapped, criminals are believed to favour push-to-talk. That’s why the U.S. Department of Justice, the FBI and the Drug Enforcement Administration recently asked for regulations to tap push-to-talk, voice over Internet Protocol and other communications technologies that use the Internet Protocol.
Mobile phone picture mail and video messaging have also caught the attention of law enforcement.
