The numbers of most of the US mobile phones could be listed this year in a wireless directory.

The directory could be welcome by real estate agents and other on-the-go professionals who want clients to be able to find their numbers or by students, who have essentially grown up with mobile phones and see them as their primary means of communications

But there are many concerns about privacy: consumers might face a flood of unwanted calls, spam and junk e-mail.
