FingerQuick

Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corp will start selling tomorrow a compact USB device that authenticates users through fingerprints.

To be authentificated, users must connect FingerQuick to a computer, then place their fingertips onto it, and it will automatically transmit the linked ID and password.

The device will cost around 20,000 yen (some 148.52 euro).

In addition to this model, there is also a FingerQuick that generates a one-time password upon authentication.
